KATHUA, June 22: A wrestling competition was organized by Modern Dangal Committee, Gurah Kalyal, tehsil Billawar.
On the occasion, SDM Billawar Rajesh Basotra was the chief guest, while Tehsildar Ramkote, Tehsildar Billawar and SHO Billawar were guests of honour.
Gurjeet from Amritsar and Kala from Dina Nagar shared first place, while second position was shared by Nisar from Doda and Kulbir from Jammu.
Shiva from Dina Nagar, Sunny from Himachal Pradesh, Sukha from Amritsar, Vicky from Shimla and Sunny from Rajasthan exhibited outstanding performances.
The members of the organizing committee were Randhir Singh Kotwal, Dr Tara Chand, Babu Ram, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Mohammad Rafiq, Shiv Dass, Feroz Din, Krishan Chand Padha, Vipan Sharma, Verinder Singh Kotwal, Dharmesh Gupta, Sanju Gupta, Ramesh Verma, Rakesh, Ali Mohammad and Puran Singh.
