JAMMU, Nov 25: Gurpurab was celebrated at District Jail in association with District Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (DGPC), Jammu, in which police officials and jail inmates took part.
On the occasion, Raagi Jathas from different Gurudwaras performed the kirtan of Guru Granth Sahib.
The pracharak of DGPC highlighted the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji towards whole universe.
While speaking, Dinesh Sharma, Superintendent, District Jail, also highlighted the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Among others present were Dalip Singh, president, DGPC, Manjeet Singh, secretary, Attar Singh, cashier, Manmeet Singh, Ex- president, Gurudwara Kalgidhar, Rehari and other members of the DGPC.
