Guru Ravi Dass Sabha demands arrest of Baba Ramdev for anti-dalit attitude

JAMMU, Apr 27: All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha today held a protest demonstration against Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev.
The members of All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha and other Dalit Orgnisations assembled at Krishna Nagar under the chairmanship of Vijay Lochan, president of the Sabha and demanded immediate arrest of Baba Ramdev. The protestors also burnt the effigy of Baba Ramdev.
Addressing the gathering, Vijay Lochan said that Baba Ramdev has crossed all limits while commenting on Rahul Gandhi, vice president, All India Congress Committee.
Baba Ramdev has been exposed throughout the country for his anti-dalit attitude, he added.
He termed the visit of Rahul Gandhi to the houses of dalits as picnics, adding that he (Rahul Gandhi) has indulged in dirty politics.
Baba Ramdev has under estimated the strength of dalits in India, he added.
“We appeal the Government of India to arrest Baba Ramdev so that he may not dare to comment against any community”, he demanded.
Among others present were Sham Sundar Basson, Sham Lal Basson, CL Banal, Tara Chand, Parshotam Thappa, Surjeet Singh Heer, ML Banal, Mulkh Raj, etc.
