POONCH, Mar 6: In connection with the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, a function was organised in the premises of Shri Geeta Bhawan, Poonch today in which the dignitaries from all the faiths participated.
The prominent speakers highlighted the supreme sacrifice of the Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji for the safety of the ‘Dharma’ and protection of people. The programme was organised by Sampark Vibhag RSS at Geeta Bhavan which was presided by Surinder Singh Bajaj (Vice president SGPC Poonch).
A large number of people participated in this grand function to pay their respect to the great Guru.
The main speaker Ravinder Singh spoke at length on the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Gurcharan Singh (President AISF Poonch) lauded the role of Guru ji who always believed in the service of the humanity.
Ashok Johar, District incharge of RSS also highlighted the sacrifices of the Sikh Guru i and appreciated the efforts of organizing such events to aware people about the sacrifices of the Gurus in saving the humanity.
Anmol Singh, Balbir Singh, Adv Sanjay Raina, Satish Sasan and other prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.
