SRINAGAR, Oct 6: Governor Satya Pal Malik felicitated ace Wushu Player Surya Bhanu Pratap for winning the bronze medal in the Asian Games 2018 and his Coach Kuldeep Handoo at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Governor presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh Bhanu Pratap for bringing laurels to the State in the Asian Games.
Malik also presented a cheque of Rs 2 lakh to Pratap’s coach Kuldeep Handoo for producing International stuff from the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lauding the achievement of Bhanu Pratap, Governor observed that he is an inspiration for the youth of the State and wished him high success in all his future endeavours.
BB Vyas and Vijay Kumar, Advisors to Governor; BVR Subrahmanyam, Chief Secretary; Dilbag Singh, DGP and Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor were present on the occasion.
