JAMMU, Sept 28: Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, today organized Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men/Women) Competitions at Sports Ground, Opposite GZSA, University of Jammu (JU), Jammu.
In Quarter-Final (Women), GDC Kathua defeated SVS Chanrorian by 7 points while in Semi-Final (Women) GWC Gandhi Nagar outplayed GWC Udhampur by an innings and 4 points.
In Men’s Semi-Final, two matches were played, one between SPMR College of Commerce and MAM College and another between PG Department and GDC Kathua. In 1st match SPMR College of Commerce won by 5 points and one innings while in 2nd match PG Department defeated GDC Kathua by 3 points and one innings.
The matches were officiated by Gagan Kumar, Anil Sharma, Anil Kumar, Ankush Sharma and Abishek Sharma while Gagan Kumar, Football Coach, University of Jammu conducted them.
All the matches of the competitions were played under the direct supervision of Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu.
