Handoo, Bhanu Partap, Pardeep make it to Indian squad for Asian Games

JAMMU, Aug 9: J&K’s Wushu stars including Chief Coach of India, Kuldeep Handoo along with the players namely Surya Bhanu Partap Singh and Pardeep Kumar have made the J&K State proud by reserving berths in the Asian Games 2018 to be held at Palembang, Jakarta from August, 18 to September 2, 2018.
While Handoo National Chief Coach of India, who is the recipient of FICCI coach of the year-2016, State Award and Sher-e- Kashmir Award, will be leading the 18-member Indian team comprising of 13 players and officials, Bhanu and Pardeep are among the players to represent India. Handoo is leading the Indian Wushu team for third consecutive time in Asian Games.
Surya Bhanu Partap Singh is 2-time bronze medallist in the World Championship and silver medallist in the World Cup, while Pradeep Kumar has recently secured silver medal in the 7th PARS Cup at Iran and gold medal in the Friendship Peace Cup.
