Handoo, Surya Bhanu Partap, Rajinder in Indian WC Wushu team

JAMMU, Sept 25: J&K’s ace Wushu players Surya Bhanu Pratap and Rajinder Singh along with coach, Kuldeep Handoo, National Chief Coach have been picked in the Indian Wushu team to participate in the 14th World Wushu Championship, being held at Kazan (Russia) from September 26 to October 4, 2017.
Prior to the World Championship,  Mr Handoo, Rajinder Singh(90 kg) and Surya Bhanu Partap Singh(60 kg) attended the National Wushu Coaching Camp from May 25, 2017 at SAI Shilaroo and NS NIS Patiala.
Earlier they participated in the one month Foreign Exposure Training in China.
Bhanu Partap is the silver medalist in the World Cup -2016 and gold medalist in the recently concluded 6th PARS Cup held at Iran, while Rajinder Singh is the silver medalist in the 9th Asian Wushu  Championship held at Taiwan and silver medalist in the 6th PARS Cup at Iran.
Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari and Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Wahid-ur-Rehman Parra has congratulated the trio for this achievement.
