Sir,
I would like to request the Governor of J&K State to take a final decision on the development and preservation of Aparna Ashram-Mantalai. The better way only is to handover this Ashram to SMVD-Shrine Board Katra. After the death of Swami Dharindra Brahamchari on 9th of June-1994, this Ashram has passed into many hands which were not capable to manage this multi-million property. As a citizen of India and native of this great land we have a fundamental right to ask the rulers that what has been done for Mantalai to which Late Swami had wished to develop like mini-Singapur. We have seen the rise of this place which was visited by national and international people of repute and now we see tall trees and green grass grown on these sky-high buildings. The International Yoga equipments and articles-cum-machinery proposed for 100 bedded hospital getting dust and rust in darkness points for serious thought. Now we cannot develop this place as International Yoga Centre without strong will and healthy financial background. The State Govts change and the policy and focus also changes. All of us should think for a while that why day and night busy Mantalai bears a deserted look now and also why we could not develop this place and who has blocked the door for Mantalai which was even a much visited place for heritage and religious pilgrimage much earlier than the arrival of Swami Dharindra Brahamchari. We have seen all the promises and ground situation also throughout all these years. Let us not wait for a very strong public agitation to save Mantalai.
Yours etc…
