JAMMU, May 26: Harjeet scored a brilliant century to guide Blue Star Cricket Club to a convincing victory over Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) by a big margin of 171 runs in the ongoing JKCA Premier Under-16 Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, Blue Star Cricket Club rode on an unbeaten 103 runs off 53 balls, studded with 14 fours and 3 sixes by Harjeet and unbeaten 87 off 62 balls including 12 boundaries by Chitwan scored a good total of 265 runs in 25 overs by losing 4 wickets. Aryan also contributed 35 runs off 27 balls with the help of 4 boundaries. For MGCA, Parth and Raman claimed 1 wicket each.
MGCA, in reply bundled out for 95 runs in 19.5 overs to lose the match by 171 runs. Vanish scored 25 runs off 31 balls with 3 fours.
For Blue Star Cricket Club, Harjeet took 2 wickets, while Aashim, Madhav, Aryan, Rinku and Sumit claimed 1 wicket each. Harjeet Dogra of Blue Star Cricket Club was adjudged as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Sandeep Manchanda as umpires, while Vinod Kandyara was the scorer.
