JAMMU, May 19: Ace Power lifter of J&K, Haroon Choudhary (Junior) has been selected in the Indian team to represent World Bench Press Championship, scheduled to be held at Kazakhstan from May 25 to 29.
Haroon was selected on the basis of his performance in National Bench Press Championship, held at Goa where he won silver medal in junior class in 74 kg category.
Divisional Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar, Parvinder Singh Happy, Ajay Sharma general secretary & Rahul Sawhney, vice president of Power Lifting Association appreciated the achievement of the player for selecting the India team.
