Harshdeep, Namandeep win gold in Inter-School Shooting

JAMMU, Oct 1: Harshdeep Singh of Delhi Public School Jammu bagged gold in Under-19 boys Pistol Shooting 10 meter Range, while Namandeep Singh of the same School claimed gold in the same event of Under-17 boys in the Inter-School Shooting Competition, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at DPS Shooting Range, here today.
As part of Annual Calendar of Activities, the Competitions were held under the overall supervision of Tirath Ram, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
15 boys participated in the event and the selected boys would represent Jammu District in Inter-District Competitions.
Earlier, the silver in Under-19 category was bagged by Gurashishpal Singh of DPS, while the silver in Under-17 category went to Ananya Sahni of DPS and Harbinder Pal Singh of the same School claimed bronze.
4th, 5th and 6th position in Under-17 category was bagged by Abhay Gupta, Aryaman Sharma and Kalhan Bhat.
