Haryana CA enters finals in Police Martyrs T20

KATHUA, Jan 5: Haryana Cricket Academy defeats LB Shastri Delhi team by 7 runs and entered into the final of the ongoing 11th Police Martyr’s Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, here today.
The 1st semi-final match was played between Haryana Cricket Academy and LB Shastri Delhi team in which Haryana Cricket Academy team won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, Haryana CA gave a target of 132 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Ashwin J Chillar was the top scorer who scored 56 runs off 51 balls with the help of 6 boundaries and 1 six, while Vikas Nagar scored 49 runs off 49 deliveries.
In reply, LB Shastri team was unable to chase down the given target and made 124 runs by losing 9 wickets. Priyansh Arya made highest 49 runs in 32 balls. Haryana Cricket Academy team became the first team to reach the final by defeating their opponents by 7 runs.
Ashwin J Chillar was awarded with man of the match trophy for his outstanding batting skills.
