Haryana thrashes J&K by 10 wkts

JAMMU, Jan 30: Formidable Haryana thrashed Jammu and Kashmir by 10 wickets in a one-sided affair in the ongoing Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana Kandivili, Mumbai today.
Batting first, J&K collapsed at 61 runs in 27.2 overs. Aditi Aryan (15), Khushboo Aftab (14) and Mariya Noorain (10) were the only three batters who reached double figure mark.
Amandeep Kaur was the wrecker-in-chief for Haryana, who took 5 wickets by conceding just 9 runs in her 5.2 overs, while Ragini Lathwal and Sonia Mendhiya bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply, Haryana chased the target easily in 10.2 overs without losing any wickets, thus won the match by 10 wickets. Tanisha Sharma remained unbeaten on 31 runs off 35 balls studded with 7 boundaries, while Reema Sisodia contributed unbeaten 22 runs off 27 balls with 3 fours.
For J&K, Mariya Noorain, Ananaya Sharma, Aditi Aryan and Kajal Bhagat bowled without any success.
