JAMMU, Jan 14: Vacation Judge of High Court, Justice Hasnain Massodi today issued notice to Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education and Principal Government Medical College Jammu with the direction that they shall not finalize the selection list of Demonstrator.
The direction was passed in a petition filed by Dr Kasturi Lal Gupta seeking permission to participate in the selection process for the post of Demonstrator.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner, High Court issued notice to Commissioner Secretary Health & Medical Education and Principal GMC Jammu and ordered that respondents may proceed with the selection process but the same shall not be finalized till next date before the bench.
Justice Massodi further directed respondents to allow the petitioner to appear in written test/ interview in the selection process at his own risk without any right flowing out of the mere participation in the selection process in his favour. The High Court further clarified that the order shall not be taken to determine the petitioner’s eligibility for the advertised posts.
