JAMMU, Oct 28: In an application filed by one Ravinder Singh seeking stay of order issued by Dr Farooq Abdullah in the capacity as President of J&K Cricket Association whereby two provincial level committees were constituted illegally and arbitrarily, High Court today issued notice to Dr Abdullah, Chief Secretary, Mohd Aslam Goni, Chairman JKCA and others returnable within three weeks.
After hearing Advocate SS Ahmed appearing for the petitioner, Justice Tashi Rabstan granted final opportunity to the respondents to file reply.
In another ppetition filed by Avtar Krishan Tickoo and others of Kashmir Cricket Club seeking direction to CBI for registration of FIR into multi-crore fraud in JKCA, Justice Tashi Rabstan, after hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner, granted three weeks time to appearing counsel for filing reply.
