HC organizes training programme on e-Court

SRINAGAR, Oct 4: On instructions of Chief Justice, Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice N. Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Chairperson e-Court, High Court of J&K , Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar and Justice Tashi Rabstan Members e-Committee, High Court of J&K, “Ubuntu Linux Awareness Cum Training Program under Change Management” for Judicial officers of districts of Baramullah, Bandipora, and Leh was conducted in High Court Complex Srinagar & for Judicial Officers of Kishtwar, Bhaderwah and Ramban at State Judicial Academy, Jammu.
Judicial Officers of these Districts were imparted training on use of Ubuntu Operating System customized by e-Committee, Supreme Court of India. The training was conducted by proficient Master Trainers Malik Shabir, Central Project Coordinator e-Courts and Mir Wajahat ,Munsiff at Srinagar and by Mr. Parvez Iqbal & Safraz Nawaz, Munsiffs at Jammu.
Registrar Judicial Srinagar and Jammu wings of the High Court & Pawan Kumar Kotwal, Director State Judicial Academy had made suitable arrangements for the training programme at both the places.
The Judicial Officers were made aware about various advantages of Ubunty Linux 14.4 Operating System and various functionalities it carries. They were imparted practical training on the system as a whole. The officers were attentive & showed eagerness to learn new concepts in the technology adoption – a process undertaken by the High Court.
