JAMMU, Jan 19: High Court today directed Public Service Commission not to finalize the selection process of Assistant Professor Botany.
The direction was passed in a petition filed by Deepu Pandita, who submitted that in the process of short listing, the PSC has taken into account only PG Degree of the candidates and not the NET, which is comprised in the prescribed minimum qualification for the post along with PG.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal issued notice to respondents and directed that selection process qua the post shall not be finalized till next date before the Bench.
