HCA, ACA script wins in APL-2019

AMRITSAR, Mar 25: HCA and Amandeep Cricket Academy (ACA) defeated their rivals convincingly on the second day of APL-2019, here today.
Two matches were played today which among others were witnessed by Dr Jaspal Singh, Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar as a chief guest.
On the occasion, Lovely Arora, Director, ACA announced special prizes for players as well as spectators to make the tournament more interesting.
The first match was played between HCA and Ajit Memorial Cricket Club, Gurugram. HCA won the toss and elected to bat first. HCA scored 102 runs in 19.2 overs.
In reply, Ajit Memorial Cricket Club bundled out for paltry total of 93 runs, thus lost the by a narrow margin of 9 runs. Vision Panchal of HCA was declared as the man of the match for scoring 28 runs and taking 3 wickets.
In another match played between host Amandeep Cricket Academy (ACA) and KICC Ludhiana, ACA won the toss and elected to bat first. ACA scored 168 runs in 20 overs. Ankit Dabas top scored with 68 runs, while Lalit Yadav contributed 42 runs.
In reply, KICC team managed to score 112 runs in 17.4 overs, thus ACA won the match by 56 runs. Ankit Dabas was declared as man of the match, who scored valuable 68 runs with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes. He also bagged 5 valuable wickets in 3.4 overs by giving away just 11 runs.
