Heritage School celebrates annual day

JAMMU, Dec 22: Calling upon the parents and teachers to take special attention towards education of their wards, the Minister for Technical Education,  R. S. Chib has said that the children are the builders of the nation, who need proper guidance and quality education to make them civilized and responsible citizens of the society.
The Minister was speaking at annual day function of Heritage School Jammu held at Zorawar Singh Auditorium today.
Member Parliament Mehboob Baig, Principal Secretary Higher Education, K B Aggarwal, parents of the students and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The Minister said that the present time is the age of competition and urged upon the school management to prepare their children accordingly so that they could prove their metal at the State as well as national and international level competitions.
Appreciating the endeavors of school management, the Minister hoped  that the school will come up to the expectations of the parents.
Earlier students presented a colourful cultural programme which was appreciated by the audience.
On the occasion the memento was presented to the Minister by the school management.
Later awards were distributed among the meritorious students by the Minister.
Advisor to the Chief Minister, Devender Singh Rana has said that collective efforts of teachers and parents ensure creation of talented students, who not only bring good name for the school but also for the State while proving their metal at national level competitions.
He was addressing at an annual day function of Heritage School held here at Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University today.
Among others, Minister of State for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Chairperson, Principal, teaching and non teaching staff of the school besides the parents of students were present on the occasion.
Principal of the school, while presenting vote of thanks, highlighted the achievement of the school and said that every effort would be made to stand out the inner talent of the students.
Earlier the budding students presented variety of cultural programmes and enthralled the audience.
