JAMMU, Oct 31: Heritage School celebrated XIX Annual Day in which students of Classes III to V performed with a Spectacular Musical Bonanza. This grand event, filled with enchantment and wonder, revolved around the theme of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ reinforcing the values of love, friendship and the significance of recognizing the inner beauty within each individual.
Anoo Malhotra, Secretary Social Welfare Department was the chief guest on this occasion. She was received by Sunil Gupta Chairman of the school and Akash Pradhan the Principal. Kaavisha Singh of Class V, Junior School Prefect, delivered a welcome note, reflecting the innocence and charm of young students. The programme not only highlighted their artistic abilities but also their teamwork, communication and self confidence. Every Session Heritage School felicitated students who excel in academics as well as in co-curricular activities by awarding them with All Rounder Trophy.
The chief guest awarded the ‘All-Rounder’ trophies for the session 2022-23 to Vivaan Bhardwaj (IIID), Dishita Choudhary (IIIE), Samardev Bansal (IVC), Vivaan Gupta (IVD), Shivya Mengi (VA) and Adamya Randhawa (VA).
Samardev Bansal (VC, 2023-24) received a special award for his outstanding sports achievement in Table Tennis. The ‘Best House’ trophy among juniors was shared by Legacy and Tradition Houses, a testament to their collective efforts in co-curricular competitions.
Anoo Malhotra, in her address, appreciated the performers for the excellent show. Having been a parent of the school herself, she praised the school’s commitment in providing a well rounded education and fostering an environment where students can thrive not only academically but also artistically and she mentioned the significance of ancient wisdom by quoting from the Rigveda and emphasised that the stronger, the powerful and the intelligent beings should always strive to pull the weaker ones along with them.
