Heritage School conducts investiture ceremony

JAMMU, Aug 22: Heritage School conducted maiden ‘Investiture Ceremony’ of  the junior section for the academic session 2015-16, here today.
The occasion was cherished by the distinguished parents of the elected Student Council members.
The Programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Principal and the Staff Executive Council.The students performed Saraswati Vandana.
In-charge Academics then administered the oath of office to the School Prefects and House Prefects respectively.
Headmistress of  the School adorned the badges to  Asbah Alam  Buch of class-V and Simridhi Singh of class-V as Junior School Prefects.
Thereafter, Preesha Singh, Ayush Kher, Divyanshi Singh, Aarush Gupta, Saavvi Kapoor, Reyan Taj, Aayati Mahajan and Himank Nayyer the Junior House Prefects of the four Houses accepted the badges of responsibilities from their respective Housemistresses.
The newly appointed office bearers looked spirited with confidence and pride donning their badges. The students vouched that they would do their best to carry out their duties diligently.
The Principal of the School while addressing the gathering said that the students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow, so it is essential to develop responsible human beings with leadership qualities.
In-charge Administration presented the vote of thanks.
The programme came to a close with the School song.
