JAMMU, Mar 24: Heritage School, hosted an enlightening and interactive Orientation Day for the new students and parents, marking the commencement of the 2025-2026 academic session. The two-part event, held at the school’s Amphitheatre, aimed at familiarizing parents and students of classes I-V with the school’s ethos and academic framework.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Akash Pradhan, Vice Principal, Rashmi Thakur, Founder Head Mistress Vandana Jasrotia, Headmistress-designate Hemneet Kour and former Incharge of classes 1 & 2, Ranjana Jamwal, accompanied by the chanting of shlokas, setting an auspicious tone for the day.
In her address, Hemneet Kour emphasized the school’s focus on holistic education and experiential learning. Coordinators Rachita Anand (Classes I & II) and Harpreet Kaur (Classes III-V) provided insights into the curriculum, regulations and assessment methods, urging parents to stay engaged in their child’s learning process.
The school’s counsellor, Karishma Pathania, shared tips on helping children adjust to the new environment. The Open House session, led by Jasrotia, addressed parent queries. Meanwhile, children enjoyed games and a movie. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks from Principal Pradhan, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded students.
