Heritage School organizes ‘Dance & Discover’

JAMMU, Sept 19: Heritage School organized a glittering Inter-House Dance Competition ‘Dance & Discover’ under the British Council’s International School Award Accreditation Scheme (ISA), here.  Heritage school is the 1st in Jammu to apply for ISA.
It is pertinent to mention here that ISA provides recognition for teachers and their schools, working to instill a global dimension into the learning experience of all children.
In ‘Dances & Discover’, the Inter-House Competition for students of class VI to X, the participants sprayed the international colours of dance and set the stage on fire with their breath taking performances.
Before each dance item, a brief introduction of the country was given by the council member to add to the interest of the audience.
The competition showcased dance forms of Brazil, Philippines, England, and China.
Boys and girls dressed in specific costumes and extensive jewellery were a treat to the eyes and captivated everyone with their enthralling dance moves.
Considering the highly competitive spirit coupled with the dazzling costumes and rhythmic dances that enraptured the audience, the judges surely had a most difficult time selecting the winners.
Tradition House was declared winner with Dignity and Culture Houses claming second and third positions respectively.
The judges on the occasion were Anuradha Seth and Tarun Sayal.
