JAMMU, May 2: To motivate children to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to become effective and impressive communicators, the Heritage School organized an Inter-House English Spellathon Competition, here today.
The competition was held simultaneously at two venues for classes VI-VIII and classes IX-X.
There were four main rounds comprising of two sub-sets each. The contestants were asked to spell words taken from Environmental Sciences, Literature and Medical Sciences etc.
The audience were also abuzz with excitement, cheering for their respective Houses and trying to answer the questions put to the contestants.
Dignity House won 1st position in classes VI-VIII, while Legacy House won 1st position in classes IX- XI.
