Heritage School organizes One Act Play Competition

JAMMU, Nov 3: An Inter-House English One Act Play Competition was organized in Heritage School in the School premises, here today.
The students of various houses presented One Act Plays on the occasion.
According to the organizers, after the successful staging of Hindi One Act play this was a step forward in identifying the hidden talent among students, exploring the unexplored and providing them with a platform to showcase their skill in histrionics.
The themes of the plays ranged from classroom humour, introspection of human emotions and their roles in our lives, gratitude towards our parents. The acting skills of the students generated a thunderous applause from the audience.
The esteemed judge on the occasion was Sumeet Sharma, Head, Children & Youth Wing Natrang, alumini of the Department of Indian Theatre, Punjab University, Chandigarh and the protégé of the illustrious Balwant Thakur, who is one of the most talented and promising young theatre director of Jammu.
Students of Tradition House claimed first place, while second position was bagged by Culture House and third position was shared by Legacy and Dignity House.
The Principal, Heritage School felicitated Sumeet Sharma on the occasion.
