JAMMU, Sept 20: Heritage School, Jammu, has been awarded with the first position in Co-Ed schools category in the Jammu and Kashmir State by the C Fore in its Annual Education World Survey 2013 and was felicitated in a glittering Awards Dinner Night at The Lalit, New Delhi .
Heritage School outshone every other Co-Ed school in Jammu on 14 parameters including academic reputation, faculty competence, leadership quality, sports education, disabilities friendliness and community services.
The management and the Principal lauded and acknowledged the efforts of each staff member in achieving this prestigious award.
This award will act as inspiration and encouragement for the Heritage fraternity to scale new heights and set new standards.
Among the top educationists from India and abroad present on the occasion were Graham Cooper and Tina Whitely of the UK-based Capita SIMS, a premier school information management systems company; Swapna Pawar, head of Asian International College, Singapore; Rajeev Pathank, co-founder of Funtoot Learning; and Kishen Whabi of Fit Kids Education Pvt. Ltd.
This year the all-India survey conducted by the well-known Delhi-based market research and opinion polls agency Centre for Forecasting Pvt. Ltd (C fore), polled 5,779 parents, educationists, teachers and principals across 21 cities to rate 725 schools with objective to track and proclaim the country’s best schools as role models to the entire of community of educators and inspire top-ranked schools themselves to improve from good to great.
The senior most Trustees of Heritage School, DP Gupta and Suman Gupta received the award.
