JAMMU, Dec 15: Heritage School has been reaccredited with the prestigious British Council International School Award for the period of 2017-2020 at a glittering ceremony in British High Commission, New Delhi. The school is a recipient of ISA for an unbroken period of 6 years now.
The Principal and the Management congratulated the ISA Co-ordinator and her team on their stupendous success and complimented their hard work which made it possible for the school to win the prestigious award twice in a row.
The award acknowledges embedding Collaborative International Learning across the school curriculum. Students from kindergarten to XII enthusiastically took part in multifarious activities throughout the academic session 2016-17, which provided a window to the world within their learning atmosphere.
‘Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all’ was affirmed with activities transcending boundaries, building sensitivity for diverse cultures and under-privileged along with their protective instinct elevated towards Mother Earth. The collaborative projects with 5 different schools beyond India fostered ‘spirit de corps’.
The assessment panel has high commendation for the innovative activities undertaken which involved intensive and thorough research work and collaboration leaving strong foot prints in global learner.
