JAMMU, Dec 4: The students of Heritage School brought laurels to the school by winning 5 prizes in the Science Fest organised by The Scindia School Fort at Gwalior.
The students, who participated in the Science Fest were Rythm Babbar and Sachi Singh, both from class X, Suruchi Sharma, Pranjul Kalsi and Parth Singh Manhas, all from class XI. The escort teacher was Vandana Jasrotia.
The students of Heritage School participated in the three days Science Fest at the prestigious school of Gwalior for the first time to compete with 7 other leading public schools of India.
The Heritagiens proved their mettle by winning 5 prizes in all in various science related competitions.
Rythm Babbar won first prize in poster making on the topic Family Farming, whereas Sachi Singh and Rythm Babbar won the second and third prizes respectively in slogan writing competition on ‘Drug Abuse’.
Suruchi Sharma won the third prize in story writing competition on ‘The Mad Scientist’, whereas Pranjul Kalsi, Parth Singh Manhas and Suruchi Sharma won second prize in Science Model exhibition on ‘Science against Crime’. Their model of ‘Pick and Drop’ robot that can help in locating unidentified object in humanly inaccessible areas, won special appreciation for the effort and technicality.
The impeccable power point presentation during the Science Fest on Science related activities by Rythm Babbar has further given the school a pride of place in The Scindia School, Gwalior.
