JAMMU, Oct 21: Hetika Gupta, a Class 2-E student of Jodhamal Public School, won a gold medal at the 12th District Jammu JU-JITSU Championship 2024-25, held in the Indoor Complex at Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
The event was organized by the District Jammu JU-JITSU Association under the banner of the JU-JITSU Association of Jammu and Kashmir and the J&K Olympics Association. Competing in her weight category, Hetika defeated two opponents to clinch the gold medal, bringing pride to her school and parents, Dr. Vipul Kumar Gupta and Dr. Bhumika Gupta. She was trained under the guidance of Coach Rohini Chib. Hetika’s achievement highlights her dedication and the growing prominence of JU-JITSU in the region.
