JAMMU, Nov 10: J&K UT Pensioners and Civil Society Association has demanded hike in Medical Allowance at par with Central Government.
In a handout Association president, S. Ajit Singh Adyal stated that it is the need of hour to hike the medical allowance in favour of J&K UT employees and pensioners at par with those of Central Government.
Singh claimed that Central Government has hiked medical allowance to Rs. 1000 since January 1, 2016 in favour of its employees and pensioners.
He urged upon J&K Government to hike the Medical Allowance to Rs. 1000 per month in favour of its employees and pensioners so that they may not suffer and get some relief.
