LOS ANGELES, Sept 12: Actress Hilary Duff said she does not know how to respond to the repeated love declarations made by her ex-boyfriend Aaron Carter.
The 26-year-old ‘Lizzie McGuire’ star said she was aware of Carter’s professions, but she apparently did not feel the same, reported Contactmusic.
“He does, I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don’t know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I’m still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just… (We) don’t know each other,” Duff said.
Earlier this year, Carter talked about his love to Duff in some Twitter posts after she announced separation from husband Mike Comrie.
“I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don’t care what any of you think,” he tweeted.
“I don’t know who she is today, she doesn’t know who I am today but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong,” Cater later said in an interview.
Duff and the pop singer, 26 dated each other on-and-off between 2001 and 2003 before he met and dated Lindsay Lohan. It was also reported that Carter soon left Lohan and went back to dating Duff. (PTI)
