RAJOURI, Dec 14: Abhinaya Kala Manch Reasi and Sangam Theatre Group Reasi in collaboration with District Administration Rajouri staged Hindi Play “ Vote Sab Ka Haq “at PWD Dak Bunglow Rajouri, today.
The play was written by Rifat Yasmeen Khan and directed by Shadab Khan. Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu was the chief guest while Jatindra Kumar Singh Deputy Commissioner Rajouri presided over the function. Saleem Malik Additional DC Rajouri , Sadiq Khan Secretary Red Cross, CMO Rajouri Dr Rajeev Sharma, CEO Rajouri Ab Hamid Fani, DIG Police A K Atri, I G Police Rajesh Kumar and SSP Rajouri Haseeb Mughal were the special guests on the occasion.
The play was based on election promotions. Characters of the play narrated “Vote Sab Ka Haq” and stressed more and more participation of people in the election to cast the vote properly in fair and ethical manner and every eligible voter to cast the vote in upcoming Election in district Rajouri. The play depicted rights of the voter and how to elect the right candidate.
Those who acted in different roles included Sachdev Singh, Vishal Banathia, Ajay Sharma, Arvind Goswami, Tarsem Kumar and Nazir Ahmad Wani. Music was done by Aasim Khan, Makeup by M Akram Khan and costumes by Vikas Barru.
On the occasion, chief guest appreciated the efforts made by the organizers and thanked for performance of the play on Election Promotion Day at Rajouri. A large number of spectators including theatre lovers, college students, teachers and youngers witnessed the play.
The vote of thanks was presented by Sadiq Khan.
