Police Martyrs Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament

REASI, Oct 18: Hindustan Cricket Club (HCC) Reasi and Bhawani Cricket Club (BCC) Katra sailed into quarterfinal round of the ongoing Police Martyrs Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being played by at General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Kalka Cricket Club Reasi batting first scored 91 runs. In reply, Hindustan Cricket Club Reasi made 93 runs and defeated Kalka Cricket Club Reasi by 4 wickets.
In the second match, Bhawani Cricket Club Katra batting first scored 142 runs, whereas in reply Talwara Cricket Club made 132 runs in a close contest lost the match by 10 runs.
Vikas of Hindustan Cricket Club Reasi who scored 33 runs in 22 balls with three sixes and one boundary and took 2 wickets and Anoop of Bhawani Cricket Club Katra who scored 53 runs in 46 balls with one six and four boundaries and also took 2 wickets were declared Man of the Matches and were awarded for their outstanding performances by Mumtaz Ali Bhatti DySP DAR DPL Reasi.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Naibasti Cricket Club Reasi will take on Tiger Cricket Club Reasi and Mahore Cricket Club will clash with Tariq Cricket Club Reasi.
The tournament is being organized by District Police Reasi under the supervision of Rashmi Wazir SSP Reasi under Civic Action Programme of J&K Police.
