Hiranagar Club, KCC Kathua win ties in SCA T20

KATHUA, Dec 8: Hiranagar Cricket Club and KCC Kathua registered resounding victories over their rivals in the ongoing State Cricket Academy (SCA) T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Sports Council J&K under the supervision of Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Trophy Player and Member District Jammu Sports Council.
In the first match, Hiranagar Cricket Club defeated Mithu Cricket Club by 9 wickets. Batting first,  Mithu Club scored 92 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 15 overs with Hanny (54) and  Mithu (12) being the main contributors. From bowling side, Hariom took 2 wickets and Vishwajeet claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Hiranagar Cricket Club chased the target in 10.3 overs by losing 1 wicket.
The main scorers were Manav (52) and Pankaj (30). From bowling side, Anuj took the only wicket to fall. Manav was adjudged as the man of the match.
In another match, KCC Kathua defeated SCC Billawar by 104 runs.
Batting first, KCC Kathua scored a fighting total of 150 runs in 18 overs. Yawar Khan and Aslam scored 29 runs each. From bowling side, Bhuvnesh took 3 wickets.
In reply, SCC scored 46 runs in the stipulated 12.5 overs. Surjeet top scored with 10 runs, while no other batsman could cross the double figure mark. From bowling side, Asif and Aryan Dogra took 3 wickets each, while Yawar Khan claimed 1 wicket. Yawar Khan was declared as man of the match.
