JAMMU, Nov 28: Hiranagar Hockey Club and Young Star Simbal Camp registered victories over their rivals in the ongoing Senior Hockey Tournament, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
In the first match, Hiranagar Hockey Club defeated AKS Club Digiana by four goals to one (4-1) in an easy contest.
From Hiranagar Hockey Club, the first goal was scored by Rajinder Singh in 15 minute, while the 2nd, 3rd and 4th goals were scored by Manik Sharma, Sandeep Singh and Abhinandan in 22nd, 40th and 45th minutes respectively, while Jagmeet Singh was the goal scorer for AKS Digiana in 21st minute.
In another match, Young Star thrashed Deshmesh Club by four goals to nil (4-0). The goals were scored by Manpreet Singh, Devinder Singh, Jagandeep Singh and Manpreet Singh in 5th, 24th, 41st and 51st minutes respectively.
The matches were officiated by Karanjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Angat Singh, Gurjit Singh and Joginder Singh.
Jaswant Singh, Sr Vice President Hockey J&K and GS Bakshi, General Secretary were present on the occasion.
