JAMMU, Sept 27: The historic market place of the city of temples Raghunath Bazar today launched its website ‘www.raghunathbazar.org’.
With the launch of the website Raghunath Bazar which is the hub of business in Jammu goes hi- tech.
The website was jointly inaugurated by Director Tourism, Jammu Soujanya Sharma and vice president of J&K Bank and Zonal Head Jammu, Arvind Gupta at a function held here.
Rakesh Gupta president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu presided over the function. A colourful brochure of Raghunath Bazar was also released on the occasion, which has been sponsored jointly by J&K Bank and Department of Tourism, Jammu.
A caller ring tone welcoming a caller on BSNL mobile to Raghunath Bazar was also pressed into service on occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Soujanya Sharma and Arvind Gupta hailed the efforts of the businessmen of the Bazar in developing the website. They said that keeping in view the changing times, having a website for the Bazar will prove fruitful to the traders.
After listening the demands raised by the businessmen on the occasion, Arvind Gupta said that he will forward all the concerns of the businessmen to the higher authorities and ensured that they will be considered accordingly.
Soujan Sharma in his address ensured that all tourism related projects would be compelted in scheduled time as well as beautification of Raghunath Bazar.
