HMAI demands independent status for HSM

JAMMU, Oct 18: Homeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI), J&K Branch today demanded an independent status for Homeopathic System of Medicine (HSM).
In a meeting of the J&K Branch of the association held here today under the chairmanship of State president, Dr BR Dubb, the speakers urged the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Health Minister, Ch Lal Singh, to give an independent status to HSM with provision at State/Division, District and Block level of administrative structure out of ISM component.
The speakers also urged the CM and Health Minister to open a Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital on the analogy of Ayurvedic and Unani Medical College in Jammu/Kashmir.
The association demanded that the recommendations and proposals submitted by the State Board of HSM be implemented with effectiveness.
