Srinagar, Dec 22: The Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department has ordered the suspension of a Medical Officer at District Hospital, Ramban pending inquiry.
In this regard, the H&ME stated in an order that pending enquiry into misconduct, Dr Mohammad Sayeed, Medical Officer, District Hospital, Ramban, is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect.
“During the period of suspension, Dr Mohammad Sayeed, Medical Officer shall remain attached with the office of Block Medical Officer, Mandi, Poonch.”
It has been further ordered that the Director of Health Services, Jammu shall serve a charge sheet to Dr Mohammad Sayeed, Medical Officer, District Hospital, Ramban based on the report of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban and the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban within 2 days positively.
Chief Medical Officer, Kathua, shall conduct an enquiry in the matter taking into account factual details and reply of the concerned doctor in response to the chargesheet and furnish the enquiry report to the Administrative Department within a period of 20 days.
