JAMMU, Dec 12: Hockey J&K held its annual general body meeting in Jammu. At this Annual General Body Meeting, about 27 representatives from different affiliated clubs attended and discussed a variety of topics on the agenda. The house also approved every item on the agenda.
The JK-UT Championship, national championships, coaching camps, upcoming tournaments, technical training and clinics for umpires and other ideas for promoting hockey were all thoroughly discussed during the meeting.
The member of the Jammu and Kashmir divisions asked the Sports Council to arrange special coaching camps for the summer in Kashmir and for the winter in Jammu and also urged Secretary Sports Council for providing facilities to players of JK-UT National Hockey team such as TA/DA, tracksuits, uniforms, railway tickets for participation in 13th Hockey India Senior National Men championship which would be held at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
