SRINAGAR, May 24: 1st Marvel Hockey Tournament was inaugurated at Astro Turf Hockey Playfield, Polo Ground, here today.
The Tournament is being organized by Hockey J&K and sponsored by Marvel Technology and Charzan Holidays. President of Hockey J&K, Gurdeep Singh Sangral, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside esteemed guests like Rafiq Munshi (Executive Member of Hockey J&K), and other dignitaries including Avtar Singh, Gurmeet Singh (Executive member Hockey J&K), Mohd Ameen, Raja Abbas and technical staff from J&K police.
The inaugural match was played between Badal Hockey Club and Meadows Hockey Club. In this thrilling match, Badal Hockey Club claimed victory by 3-1.
In the second showdown, Barzulla Hockey Club clashed with Young Star Hockey Club, with the latter seizing a narrow win by 3-2.
