BHADERWAH, Aug 18: The holy mace of Machail Mata today left for Paddar from base camp of Maa Chandi Temple at village Chinote in Bhaderwah tehsil.
Large number of devotees from Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Ramban and other parts of Jammu province and Northern States are participating in the yatra.
Last night, large number of devotees reached Maa Chandi Temple at Chinote and after night long prayers left for first destination at Gouri Temple Sarkoot Kishtwar.
Tomorrow morning, holy mace will proceed towards Gulabgarh.
Meanwhile, Kailash Yatra officially started from Bhaderwah today. The holy mace of this Yatra will leave for Kailash Kund from its base camp Vasuki Nag Temple at Gatha near Bhaderwah on August 28, 2016.
