JAMMU, Dec 21: Hoshiarpur XI thrashed Gole Gujral Cricket Club by a huge margin of 108 runs in the ongoing 2nd Anti Drug Cricket Tournament at Red Rose Cricket Stadium, Arnia, here today.
Batting first, Hoshiarpur scored a mammoth total of 204 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Munish top scored with 70 runs, studded with 13 fours and one six, while Rahul contributed 37 runs off 17 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. Sanjay of Gole Gujral Club captured 3 wickets, while Ram claimed one.
Gole Gujral Club, in reply managed only 98 runs in the stipulated overs, thus lost the match by a huge margin of 108 runs. Nishant scored 26 runs off 30 balls with 3 boundaries, while Rajveer contributed 14 off 11 balls with one four and one six. For Hoshiarpur, Paras and Akashdeep claimed 2 wickets each.
