JAMMU, Feb 24: Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Sartaz Madni today adjourned the House for 10 minutes due to lack of quorum.
During Zero Hour, Deputy Speaker found only less than 20 members in the House and while taking serious note of this he directed Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma to ensure presence of adequate number of members from the Treasury Benches and adjourned the House for 10 minutes.
Following Deputy Speaker’s directions, Sham Lal Sharma visited the Members’ lobby and ensured quorum in the House.
During the proceedings of the House, Deputy Speaker directed all the members of the House to take the business seriously.
