JAMMU, Nov 4: Festival of lights “Diwali” proved fatal for a housewife, who has received serious burn injuries, while bursting crackers in Pounichack area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana Police Station.
As per reports, 30-year-old Pooja, wife of Vinod, resident of Pounichack was bursting crackers, when her clothes accidentally caught fire.
The family members doused the flames and rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be critical, when last reports came in.
To rule out any foul play, police has taken the cognizance.
