Housing Cooperative of Bank Officers’ launched

JAMMU, Aug 8: The Bank Officers’ Housing Co-operative Limited Jammu was launched here today in a simple and impressive function.
The Co-operative was formally launched by Chairman, The Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Limited, Jammu, Dinesh Gupta, in the presence of Arun Sharma, Ram Gopal and Rajni Gupta, Directors and founder members of the Co-operative.
While addressing the gathering, Dinesh Gupta wished the Bank Officers’ Housing Cooperative Ltd all the success in the coming years and also assured all possible help from the Bank.
Anil Modi, Chairman of the Housing Cooperative, while speaking on the occasion narrated about the aims and objectives of the Cooperative. He also revealed that the Cooperative is in the process of acquiring land having good approach to municipal/JDA Limits.
He further stated that the main objective of the Housing Cooperative will be to provide State of Art Housing Colony/Flats to the members of the Cooperative at affordable rates. He said the Housing Cooperative is planning to provide a Community Centre and a Shopping Complex to meet the daily needs of the inhabitants besides a dispensary within the Colony.
The Chairman of the Cooperative further apprised those present on the occasion that Cooperative will very shortly start the enrollment process of the members for which bank officers, Gazetted officers and Sports persons are eligible. However, he made it clear that priority shall be given to the officers of The Citizens’Cooperative Bank Ltd.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Manager, Rajeev Dogra, Chief Manager along with Branch Managers and other   officers of The Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd, Jammu were also present on the occasion.
