SAMBA, Oct 31: Humanity Public School (HPS), Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, conducted the programme here today. In the programme students from Higher Secondary Wing, Sonu Bharti was appointed as the Head Girl of the school, and the Head Boy post went to Akash Thakur. The post of Deputy Head Girl went to Gayatri Singh Charak, student of class 11th and Surya Sharma of class 11th was appointed as Deputy Head Boy.
For the post of School Sports Captain (Boy), Piyush Narania of class 10th was appointed and the post of School Sports Captain (Girl) went to Niharika Charak of class 9th. Laxmi of class 10th and Mahima of class 11th were elected as the Co-Curricular Prefects. Other two posts House Captains and Vice-Captains of different houses named Agni, Akash, Trishool and Prithvi were also elected. Bhumika of class 10thwas elected as the House Captain of Agni House and Alekh Singh of class 9thwas elected as a Vice-Captain of Agni House.
The post of House Captain of Akash House went to Bhumika Charak of class 10th and Gurvinder of class 10thwas given the post of Vice-Captain. Ayushi of class 10th of Trishool House was elected as House Captain and Suhail Choudhary of class 10th as Vice-Captain of Trishul House. Palvi Sajgotra of class 10th as House Captain of Prithvi House and Shubham Singhania of class 10th as Vice-Captain of Prithvi House.
The elected school cabinet took the oath and promised to carry in hearts, the values that they have imbibed over the years. They also swore to do their duties to the best of their abilities. Principal of the school, Gaurav Charak congratulated the elected School cabinet and urged them to work in harmony and create synergy which would help them achieve excellence.
Vice-Principal, Anku Charak also congratulated the newly appointed school cabinet. She also endorsed the importance of developing leadership traits early in life in order to turn the young learners to global citizens of substance, later in life.
