BARI BRAHMANA, Apr 11: A Nine Kundi Gayatri Mahayagya and Bhandara was organized by Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan in connection with the foundation day celebrations in School premises, here today.
The School was established in the month of April, 1981.
Over 700 students alongwith their parents and teachers recited mantras and bhajans with traditional manner and offered puran aahuti.
The pooja and mantras were recited by the Pandits of Shanti Kunj Haridwar, A K Koul, Vivek Ji and R K Thakur.
Speaking on the occasion, the Pandits threw light on the importance of organizing hawans and pooja archana and said that such types of yagyas make environmental energy rich and pure.
Speaking on the occasion, School Principal, Gaurav Charak apprised the students about the importance of performing such yagyas in maintaining a sense of balance and discipline in today’s busy life style.
Chairman of the School, Capt G S Charak; Chairperson, Meera Charak; Vice Principal, Anku Charak and Incharge of the School, Akashdeep Raina, besides staff, students and the parents of the students sought blessings for the forthcoming New Academic Session and prayed for the prosperity of mankind.
After completion of the Puranaahuti, Maha Bhog was served among the devotees.
