JAMMU, May 30: A meeting of the office bearers of Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra Managing Sub Committee Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Jagdish Raj Thakur, President, Sub Committee Jammu here.
The meeting was held in connection with the performance of the Hudh Mata Trisandhaya Yatra, which will start on July 1st, 2022 from Dharalan Nagri Kathua and culminate on July 10 at village Nanth Nallah of Tehsil Dachhan in District Kishtwar.
After holding discussions on many issues, the office bearers of the committee demanded start of tendering process and fulfilling all other formalities for providing helicopter service to the pilgrims from Kishtwar to the shrine of Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Mata before the start of the yatra, repair of road found Sounder to Bhawan Brahma base in Nanth Nallah as some pilgrims prefer to perform yatra bare footed, repair of motorable road from Patim Halla to Sounder, sufficient arrangement for providing tent facility at Googath and Bhawan by the District Administration, provide medical facility and security to pilgrims.
They also demanded that the Tourism Department should hold a Mela on the occasion at bhawan and publicity of the Shrine and the Yatra so that large number of pilgrims can be attracted to perform the yatra and District Administration Kishtwar should hold a meeting with the office bearers of the Committee to finalise the arrangements of the yatra.
