JAMMU, Nov 15: The students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana brought Laurels to the school by winning 19 medals in the 1st State Level Kick Boxing Championship, organized by Kick Boxing Association of Jammu and Kashmir at Indoor Complex, M A Stadium, here recently.
About 600 players/officials participated in this championship to hone their skills and vie for the top honours. 46 students of H P S participated in it and kept the flag of their school high by winning galaxy of medals.
Danish Malik, Tamana, Shameem and Shefali Atri won gold Medals; Sahil Choudhary, Navjyoti Verma, Meenu Masih, Sahil Bhagat, Ramu and Wasim Akram bagged silver, while Shivani Sharma, Neha Jaral, Rummani Sadotra, Yasmeen Akhtar, Anshu Kumari, Nikhil Jaral, Bhanupratap Singh, Anshu Singh and Parul claimed bronze medals.
The students of the school who participated in this Championship were received in the school premises by Gaurav Charak, Principal along with Anku Charak, Vice Principal, Pankaj Mehra, coach, Jagpreet Kour, coach, Jagdeep Singh, Akashdeep Raina, Ajay Kumar and the staff members.
